Matt is an internationally accredited coach, facilitator and training of 10+ years’ experience, founder of North Point Coaching and a past president of the Dubai chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF). Originally from the UK, now based in Dubai since 2006, he works with both multinational and Gulf organisations to help them develop their leadership skills and accomplish their strategic goals. His core skills lie in connecting with his clients’ internal worlds to assist them in finding the way forwards through their own geography of the heart.
As an ICF accredited coach, Matt has in excess of 700 hours of coaching experience. His primary areas of coaching expertise focussed on leadership and entrepreneurship. With this in mind, he co-founded North Point in 2012, a company with a purpose to restore people, organisations and communities to the greatness for which they were intended. In addition to the practise of coaching, Matt facilitates the development of coaches through the North Point Coaching Academy (NPCA). This was launched in 2016 as a response to the market need for high quality coaches with a culturally relevant worldview.
Matt began his career running adventure sports leadership programmes in the UK before making the move to Dubai to run team development and management workshops followed by a government sponsored programme designed to develop leadership skills in Emirati high school students. Through these experiences, he has had the opportunity to work with both Gulf and multinational companies to develop their teams and coach their senior staff.
A keen sport enthusiast and traveller, Matt’s passion for adventure has led him to co-lead groups of students to Cambodia, trek through to Everest base camp and conquer Kilimanjaro.
